Bridgemate has developed a mobile phone app that you can read more about here:

Magic Contest gives the necessary support to the app. The complete description on the Bridgemate app from Magic Contest’s perspective is found on the normal Magic Contest documentation page:

There are two new settings that are required for the Bridgemate app:

* Time
… Select Contest menu > Properties > General and the Contest date tab

* Use Bridgemate app
… Select Contest menu > Bridgemate > Properties and the Bridgemate (report) tab

When the Bridgemate database is created, the above two settings allow Bridgemate Control Software to start sending results to the app.

The settings that Magic Contest exports to Bridgemate are the following:

* Contest name
* Contest date and time
* Bridgemate app = Yes/No
* Member number and player names

Once the database has been created, this information can only be edited in BCS. No changes made in Magic Contest will go through to the app.

All app maintenance is done through the online interface:

If you import names from Bridgemate and use Magic Contest to make changes, then you need to export those names to Bridgemate to make them visible in the app. Select Contest menu > Bridgemate > Export names to Bridgemate II to export the updated member numbers and names to the Bridgemate database.

Ruter ger nödvändigt stöd till appen. Den fullständiga dokumentationen ur Ruters perspektiv går att hitta på Ruter-hemsidan:

Det finns två inställningar som krävs för Bridgemate-appen:

* Tid
… Välj Tävlingsmeny > Egenskaper > Allmänt och fliken Tävlingsdatum

* Använd Bridgemate-app
… Välj Tävlingsmeny > Bridgemate > Egenskaper och fliken Bridgemate (rapport).

När Bridgemate-databasen skapas möjliggör ovanstående inställningar att Bridgemate Control Software börjar skicka resultat till appen.

Inställningarna som Ruter exporterar till Bridgemate är följande:

* Tävlingsnamn
* Tävlingsdatum och tid
* Bridgemate-app (Ja/Nej)
* Medlemsnummer och spelarnamn

När databasen har skapas kan inställningarna endast redigeras i BCS. Inga ändringar som görs i Ruter går vidare till appen.

Allt underhåll av appen görs via internet:

Om du importerar namn från Bridgemate och använder Ruter för att göra ändringar, då måste du exportera de namnen till Bridgemate för att göra dem synliga i appen. Välj Tävlingsmeny > Bridgemate > Exportera namn till Bridgemate II för att exportera uppdaterade medlemsnummer och namn till Bridgemate-databasen.
