English … 14 rounds Mitchell followed by 13 rounds Interwoven Howell

Let us assume that you want to organise a contest for 14 tables where everybody meets everybody over two sessions. Then it is suitable with a Relay Mitchell the first session and an Interwoven Howell the second.

If you select to use the Magic Contest multi-session features, then you are offered an automatic change between suitable movements. The catch is that with 14 rounds the first evening and 13 the second, Magic Contest has lacked support for automatically selecting movements for the second session.

This has changed. When you in session 1 select Contest menu > Multi-session > Create next session you are offered several movement options for the second session. If you select Interwoven Howell the number of rounds will be reduced to 13 in the second session to fit the movement.

It works in a similar way for 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 tables.

Swedish … 14 ronder Mitchell följt av 13 ronder Invävd Howell

Antag att du vill anordna en tävling för 14 bord där alla möter alla över två kvällar. Då är det lämpligt med en Boforsmitchell / Blindbordsmitchell kväll 1 och en Invävd Howell kväll 2.

Om du väljer att beräkna tävlingen med Ruters funktionalitet för Flera omgångar, då erbjuds automatiskt byte mellan lämpliga flyttscheman. Haken är att då det spelas 14 ronder första omgången och 13 ronder andra omgången har Ruter saknat stöd för automatiskt val av flyttschema för andra omgången.

Detta är något som nu har ändrats. När du i omgång 1 väljer Tävlingsmeny > Flera omgångar > Skapa nästa omgång får du ett flertal alternativ på vilket flyttschema du ska välja i omgång 2. Om du väljer Invävd Howell kommer antal ronder att minskas till 13 i omgång 2 för att passa flyttschemat.

Det fungerar på motsvarande sätt vid 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 och 18 bord.
