Q: How do I open a very old contest?

A: Old contests are automatically archived to a folder called Magic Contest Documents \ Contest \ Old that you find in My Documents. They are best identified by the file name, that is normally the date of the contest, or, in case of multi-session, by the file date.

Use Windows Explorer to manually move the file from Old to Contest.  This will make it reappear in Contest Explorer, however not before you are asked by Magic Contest to again archive the contest. You must respond No to this question.

The automatic Magic Contest archiving settings are found in Contest menu > Other settings > General and the Contest Explorer tab.
