Originally, around 2003, Current standing was developed to allow for result reporting to projectors and TVs.
Since the best before date on Current standing had expired long time ago, Display was developed in 2015 to give better design and flexibility in using projectors and TV:s. As of version 4.12 in December 2017, team events can also be shown by using Display.
Current standing still works quite fine and is recommended to users who want simple and robust functionality. Display is more advanced and gives better results, but with that comes that it is more difficult to use.
